Tuesday 3/4
2025 Portland Mardi Gras Parade
Warm-up: 6:30 PM
Parade starts: 7 PM
Where:
N Albina Ave & N Humboldt St
Parking note: We will drop off and pick up surdos, but please arrange to get yourselves and smaller instruments back to the your car, being mindful of the distance between start and finish of the parade.
Bateria Uniform:
PS Jersey (or similar style PS top), White Pants, White Shoes. White under-layers recommended.
Volunteer Uniform:
Portland Samba T-Shirt, Blue Jeans
Dancers:
Please ask your section leaders for specifics.

Dress Rehearsal

Saturday 3/1
11:45 AM: required dress rehearsal for those who pass the audition process (see below). Community Music Center.

Bateria Audition Process

Saturday 2/8
3 PM: class members will be invited to next rehearsal. Community Music Center.

Saturday 2/15
11:45 AM: invited drummers to run the set with PSamba performing ensemble. Individualized feedback will be given on readiness. Community Music Center.

Saturday 2/22
11:45 AM: invited drummers run the set again with PSamba and are given a final determination of readiness for the parade. Community Music Center.
